Anna started work on this pretty little hall table back at one of our Websters workshops in May this year but never quite finished it. So I hauled it out one day last week and re-vamped it a bit and finished it off. I love how it turned out!
In the beginning it looked like this:
It was pretty in it’s natural state, but it’s a reproduction and to me repro’s never look quite authentic so it was a good one to revamp. Webster’s Chalk Paint Powder was mixed with a lovely blue/grey Haymes paint for the base coat then a lighter silver grey was dry brushed over it to add some flair. Extra dry brushing around the detailed areas gave them depth.
The table was given two coats of L’Essentiel Clear Wax to seal the paint and for protection and a top coat of Miss Mustard Seed’s White Wax added an extra tone and depth to the detail.
I love the final result and now this table looks very CHIC.
